The outside flat is also known as a bottom round roast and is a great cut for braising, pot roast or similar recipes calling for a moist heat cooking method. It also makes excellent beef jerky.

Our outside flat is thinly sliced (7 mm thick) and shingled in the package, ready to add to stir fry, better-than-takeout Beef and Broccoli, Vietnamese pho, French dip sandwiches, or flash-cooked in a hot pan and piled on a roll for a delicious steak sandwich.
